The new frame is lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic than the previous Chrono. This is accomplished using the latest in Carbon Fiber manufacturing techniques. The new frame is contracted of pre impregnated 12K advanced high strength carbon fiber mat. This is die cut then hand laid into the CNC constructed molds. The thickness of the mat is controlled throughout the process by continuous multipoint depth measurement using digital verniers.
